On tour in 2025 - Iolanthe

The West Yorkshire Savoyards continue to build up a big following across Yorkshire – in 2023 total audiences of around 1000 thrilled to The Gondoliers with house-full signs on the door. More than 900 came to see our 2024 production - Ruddigore

In 2025 we will be staging one of the favourite Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, Iolanthe, or ‘The Peer and the Peri’,

Saturday 6 September 2025, 7.30pm - Penistone Paramount

Saturday 13 September 2025, 7.30pm – Settle Victoria Hall

Saturday 20 September 2025, 7.30pm – Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond

Saturday 27 September 2025, 7.30pm – Bingley Arts Centre

Sunday 5 October 2025, 3pm – Scarborough YMCA Theatre

Auditions will be on Saturday 15 February

at Boothtown Methodist Church, 39 Boothtown Rd, Halifax HX3 6LR . On street parking around the church available

Iolanthe Music rehearsals - June. Mondays and Wednesdays at Boothtown Methodist Church, 7.30pm

June 9 (All), June 11 (principals), June 16(Chorus), June 18 (Principals), June 23 (All),June 25 (Principals as available/reqd)

Iolanthe Floor Rehearsals - August/Sept at Boothtown Methodist Church:

Saturday 23 August (10.30-4.30pm), Monday 25 August for available principals (tbc) then Tuesday 26 August to Friday 5 September (7.30pm) and inc. Saturday 30/31 August (10.30am-4.30pm as required, more details to follow)
